Oleanolic in Fructus ligustri lucidi were identified by TLC with spot clear and reproducible. Quantitative assays were performed on the active components of Oleanolic by HPLC. Active components had good linearity with the range of 1.6 μg9.6μg (r=0.9997). And the average recoveries of them were 99.0%(RSD=0.926%). The two methods can be used for the quality control.Study the supercritical fluid extraction craft of the Fructus ligustri lucidi. The effects of kinds of entrainer, time,pressure, temperature,the flux of CO2,granularity,volume of entrainer, concentration and pretreatment on the extractive results of Fructus ligustri lucidi were studied , at the same time , the curves of the influence factors were drawn. The optimum conditions for SFE-CO2 was selected with the aid of orthogonal design by using the content of Oleanolic and the yield of extractor as quality control criteria. The results was as followed: soak the matrix by 80 % ethanol (contrast to matrix 1 I 1 v/w) for an hour , pressure 18Mpa , temperature 60℃ , the rate flow of CO2 4.8L/h, 95% ethanol as entrainer (contrast to matrix 2 .' 1 v/w) and extraction time 3h.The rate of OA extraction is 0.55%, recovery rate is 87.4%.Compared with the technology of traditional solvent extraction, SFE-CO2 of Fructus ligustri lucidi was proved to be efficient, simple and save the extraction time. Meanwhile the extractor of SFE-CO2 has light color and remains the smell of original crude materials. The produce cost of SFE is lower than that of alcohol solvent extraction by preliminary economic accounting. SFE-CO2 is feasible to extract Fructus ligustri lucidi .So the craft of the SFE-CO2 of Fructus ligustri lucidi is applicable.
