In this thesis,several indoor plants:Ficus elastica,Monstera deliciosa,Diffenbachia'camille',Dracaena deremensis'Roehrs Gold',Opuntia ficus-indica,Aloe arborescen var. natalensis,Eephorbia neriifolia var. Cristata.Chlorophytu-m comosum'Vittatum'were measured by simulation experiments and evaluated with the ability of removal of formaldehyde.First under the simulated conditionthe thesis carries on the contrast to the absorption result of the formaldehyde between above-mentioned eight plants under the condition of the different formaldehyde density. At the same time it has surveyed the change in the plants physiology index sign,such as electric conductivity rate,chlorophyll, SOD,MDA..Judgments are made on plants'purification effect through the plant to the formaldehyde absorption size and resistance. Then it has conducted a prelimina-ry study in the field test to the plant purification formaldehyde effect. Some results have been made as the following:1.Different plants are different to the formaldehyde absorption effect under the different formaldehyde density condition. In this experiment along with formaldehyde gas density elevating, the majority of plants present a drop tendency to the formaldehyde gas percentage clearance.2.Get a conclusion which combined the physiology index sign variety to the clearance rate size of the formaldehyde from the whole plant :When the formaldehyde density is 0.32 mg/m3,(formaldehyde exceeds the allowed figure 4 times): Monstera deliciosa,Ficus elastica,Chlorophytum comoum'Vittatum',Opuntia ficus-indica are better to the absorption effect of formaldehyde When the formaldehyde density is 0.89 mg/m3, (formaldehyde exceeds the allowed figure 11 times): Ficus elastica,Monstera deliciosa.Opuntia ficus-indica Eephorbia neriifolia var.Cristata are better to the absorption effect of formaldehydeWhen the formaldehyde density is 1.82 mg/m3 (formaldehyde exceeds the allowed figure 23 times): Eephorbia neriifolia var.Cristata. Monstera deliciosa,Opuntia ficus-indica,Ficus elastica,are better to the absorption effect of formaldehyde3.Under the condition of the formaldehyde density for 0.32 mg/m3, all physiology of plant index sign varieties are all very small, which can explain in the condition of the formaldehyde density is relativey low the influence of the formaldehyde upon the plant is not big and the plant can carry out the normal photo-synthesis.Under other two kinds of formaldehydes density circumstance, the physiology index sign varieties of the most plants have changed greatly, explaining that the formaldehyde air has already brought about greatly negative influence to the plant physiology under the condition of these two kinds of formaldehydes density.4.The experiment, which uses the soil separated from the plant root around to observe the...
