1. Formation of inclusion between HP-β-CD with nitrobenzene and desorption of nitrobenzene on active carbon by HP-β-CDThe electrode reaction of nitrobenzene(NB) have been studied by cyclic voltammetry. The number of electrons transfer and the diffusion coefficient were determined to be 1 and 1.58×10-5 cm2·s-1.The dissociation constant KD of the inclusion complex of nitrobenzene with hydroxypropyl-β–cyclodxtrin(HP-β-CD) is 2.12×10-3mol·L-1 and 2.35×10-3mol·L-1 which were evaluated by UV spectrometric data and electrochemical methods. The results indicate that the adsorption of nitrobenzene on active carbon accords with the Freundlich isothermal formula. Utilizing the solubilizing effect of HP-β-CD on NB, by using different concentrations of HP-β-CD as desorbing liquid, nitrobenzene on active carbon has been desorbed statically. To simulate restoration of contaminated soil, the efficiency of HP-β-CD increased with the concentration of desorbing liquid, and the efficiency is markedly better than generalβ-CD. At the same time, using surfactant CTAB and SDS as desorbing liquid compares with HP-β-CD. The desorbing of mechanism has been discussed. Owing to self-contamination of surfactant, remove organic contamination by using HP-β-CD has great applied foreground in the future.2. The synthesis of Mono-6-Thiol-β-CD capped silver nanoparticles and electronic behavior of modified silver nanoparticlesMono-6-thio-β-CD capped silver nanoparticles was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, UV spectra, TEM and XRD. The chemicalstructure of the thiol capping molecules plays a crucial role at determining the average nanoparticle size, with mean diameter of 4-6nm. The electrode reaction of modified silver nanoparticles also been...
