As one of the coal mine machinery,scraper conveyor due to its different forms of drive,there will be different energy consumption and performance.As the core of the CST,the Hydro-viscous Drive is a relatively new form of transmission.It has stepless speed regulation,high efficiency and energy conservation,start small impact and so on.It is to achieve an effective means of energy saving equipment.In the process of the Hydro-viscous Drive work,because of the presence of internal friction,the difference in rotational speed of the friction pair causes the dissipation of fluid viscous dissipation in the gap,thereby increasing the temperature of the friction pair and the working fluid.The output torque of the clutch is reduced.The performance of the liquid viscosity speed clutch will be reduced.The analys is of the characteristics of the friction flow field can be provided a theoretical basis for the torque prediction of the clutch and the effect of temperature changes in the flow field.And then the technical support for the study of hydro-viscous drive and the development of high power hydro-viscous drive are also can be got.The flow field between a pair of the double arc groove friction gap in CST was studied object.The friction plate surface of the double circular arc groove structure and the viscosity of the working oil characteristics are taken into account,The flow field characteristics of the friction gap in full oil film stage are studied.A simplified mathematical model is established by establishing a flow field under adiabatic boundaries,the size of the friction plate and the dual steel sheet is measured.At the same time,factors that affect the viscosity of the oil are analyzed.Next,the viscosity-temperature characteristics and viscosity temperature equations of different working oils were determined experimentally.Pro/E software was used to establish the geometric model of the flow field,then ICEM CFD software was used for meshing,and it was imported to ANSYS CFX software for numerical calculation.So the transmission characteristics and flow field characteristics of the friction flow field under different working conditions are obtained.Finally,the results are researched.The results show that the overall temperature rise of the flow field is small.The temperature is increas ing along the radial direction,which in the oil sump area is lower than that in the non-oil sump area.And the speed difference and inlet flow have a greater effect on temperature.The flow field pressure decreases linearly along the radial direction,the circumferential pressure of the flow field is similar to that of the ladder bearing,and the pressure distribution is regular.The speed difference has little effect on the differential pressure between entry and exit,and the influent traffic has a greater effect on it.The velocity of the fluid in the flow field varies cyclically in the radial direction,but the overall trend was increasing.And the trajectory of the fluid is a parabola as a whole in a non-oil groove area.The oil groove will reduce the torque transmitted by the oil film.The torque increases as the speed difference of the friction pair increases,the inlet flow has little effect on the torque.The viscosity-temperature characteristic of the oil affects the torque of the oil film.
