The program of the study and industrialization of the micro cellulous EPDM rubber sports course was to resolve the gymnasium air pollution caused by the sports course and to meet the technological requirement of the enterprise. The first part of the experiment was carried out in the lab through the plate curing press. The second part was carried out in the factory. The result of the experiment showed that the EPDM 4045 produced by Jilin Chemical Corporation can be as the main rubber material since its excellent processing performance; The accelerating system consisted with accelerator BZ(1.5phr), TT(1phr), CZ(2phr) and S(1.5phr) can be matched with the foaming system consisted with foaming agent AC(0.7phr) and OBSH(1phr) during the curing and foaming of the compound. The sample rubber produced in this way had the uniform cell. The rubber reinforced with the silicon dioxide which was preprocessed by doubling agent Si-69 in the high-speed mixing machine would have the higher tear strength ; when the rotary vulcanizing machine belt pressure was 15Mpa, the drum temperature was 170℃, the rotary speed was 225 rpm the rubber product with good surface and excellent cell structure could be produced in the rotary vulcanizing machine. The adhesion between the surface EPDM and the PU mat can be improved by adding some cotton fibre on the EPDM back.The new eco-friendly sports course can be manufacotured when the program will be carried out. The information of the EPDM sports course made by the rotatory vulcanizing machine haven't been retrieved by this time.
