The study of atmospheric particulates is a hot topic of contemporary environmental sciences and atmospheric chemistry. Environmental action, capacity of transference and avalibility of biology of heavy metals in particles are decided by their specitions, for its long permanence, biology enrichment and toxicity, the study of heavy metals is at all times one of hot research in the fields of environmental science. In this paper, TSP and dust fall collected in the suburb of Ji'nan city were studied, and then pollution characteristics of particles, speciation distribution of heavy metals and influence to rain and plants were systemically explored to offer scientifical reference to atmospheric pollution control. The study of TSP is found that, TSP collected during heating and non-heating period is harmful to environment to some degree, its concentration during non-heating period is higher than the concentration during heating period, and the concentration of TSP in industry section is higher than habitation. In the study of heavy metals in TSP, The concentrations of Pb and Ni in TSP during non-heating period are comparatively high and the concentrations of Cu and Cr are comparatively low while the concentrations of Pb and Zn in TSP during heating period are comparatively high and the concentrations of Cr and Ni are comparatively low. The speciation analysis of heavy metals in TSP during heating and non-heating period indicates that there is great difference between two periods. The proportions of the acetate acid of Zn, Pb, Ni and Mn in TSP during non-heating period and Cu, Pb,Zn and Mn in TSP during heating period are relatively high, and so these metals have larger potential danger to environment. In the speciation study of heavy metals in dustfall, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr, Mn, Ni and Fe are all existed with some proportion in different diameter particles. The smaller diameters of particles are, the higher concentration of Cu, Pb and Zn are, and the lower concentrations of Cr, Ni, Mn and Fe are. The residual fraction of Pb, Cr, Ni and Fe has high proportion and so these metals can be existed steadily. The acetate acid fraction of Zn and Mn are relatively high, and so these metals have larger potential danger and...
