The cause of generating liquid resistance is its' viscosity. Most of liquid resistance locates in turbulence area. Working area for drag reduction agents (DRA) is in turbulence area, and it can reduce resistance as well as increase transportation effectively. Though the fact of drag reduction was found in later of 19th century, it wasn't attached importance to enough until application DRA in crude oil transportation in 1970s. Especially it gives DRA wide developing space recently that lacking of energy sources and continuous oil exploitation increasing. There are many kinds of DRA and have different applications purposes. This article aims at a species DRA dissolving in oil of α-olefin polymerization. It's one of the most application as well as best efficiency and has characteristic of high molecular weight (beyond 1000,000),good oil dissolving as well as high drag reduction ability. Because of emitting off mass heat, polymerization is done under low temperature conditions in order to fall reaction velocity and get high molecular weight. Manufacture reactor and utilizing Ziegler-Natta catalyst, we polymerize α-olefin polymerization by bulk polymerization. We also discuss influence factors during polymerization through orthogonal test table and select 5 significance factors investigating in detail.Analyzing experiment result, we find ,① With enhancing dosage of help catalyst, there presents increasing for DRE until DRE achieving to high point and after the point DRE decline. ② It is the same trends for main catalyst. ③ Trends fortemperature change is the same, the best conditions -8°C--10°C. ④ The bestpolymerizing time conditions is 48h.⑤ The optimal monomer ratio is 3:1:1. Besidesbasing on judged by the basis of DRE, we also estimate DRA by viscosity and get the same conclusion. It can be seen clearly from the result of medium enlarged that 30...
