| China has the largest productivity and output in fluorine chemical industry in the world nowadays, as well as its reserves and produced quantity of proved fluorite.There are two reasons. One is that the reserves and quality of ore resources in China have their own advantage; the other is our low standard to environmental protection without paying enough attention to protecting fluoric resources.The fluoride salt mainly means aluminum fluoride and cryolite, which are made of hydrofluoric acid and fluorite respectively, having become the important auxiliary haulage in producing electrolytic aluminum.As a big country of fluorite, China can produce 3.5 million tons of fluorite annually, ranking the top in the world, and sharing the world total amount of near 1/5 for its reserves. But currently the proved reserves which can be exploitation out are estimated only enough for 25 years to exploit. The key problem is the shortage of resources, great demand of export and server smuggle.Being the raw product after simply processing of fluorite, hydrofluoric acid can be used to produce fluoride salt and other fluoric products through further being processed. China has begun to control the export of fluorite by issuing license since the last two years. However, the export of hydrofluoric acid is not only free nowadays, but also it can be given 13% drawback by Chinese government. Therefore many foreign companies, just making use of this loophole, have established a lot of hydrofluoric acid producing factories, with which they export hydrofluoric acid in great numbers and loot ore resources of our country with low price, resulting in current intensity condition of fluorite supply eventually.This paper discusses the current condition and existent problem of fluorine chemical industry by presenting the production and demand of fluoride salt, hydrofluoric acid and fluorite, the condition of enterprises and the development tendency of this industry, and then some promoting suggestions will be put forward. |
