Carbon black is important chemically raw material. Mostly as strengthening agent of rubber, carbon black has excellent excess weld and wearing qualities. As a time, carbon black can also prevent sunray ageing and resist static electricity or transmit electric eg. Due to above 90% of carbon black are used for rubber industry, especially in tire industry, its production are controlled demand and technical requirement of tire industry. In addiction, carbon black is printing ink an, beaded paint, chemical fibre , and curry eg of fine colorant or toner of sweat. With difficult preparation and alluring application prospect, production technique for carbon black become investigative hot point of chemical industry. Our main task is seek after low cost, high quality, and many phyletic for producing carbon black.In this article we applied wet granulation, used furnace black in oil burner, main water and atmosphere as raw material, discussed these factors such as different compounding ratio with granulating water, average granulating time, binder dosage, variation of pH, absorption value of DBP, and iodine absorption number which influenced carbon black quality. Owing to granulation and dryness are two mayor course in wet granulation for carbon black, we made preliminary theoretical calculation with process of dryness beside studying each affecting factor in the process of granulation.Research results:(l)Controlling moisture addition in granulation and adding befitting binder spray in granulating water are two key roles effect wet granulation for carbon black. Granulating decided substantiality size of carbon black particle, whereas average granulating time, variation of pH an, absorption value of DBP, and else factor have affect on carbon black quality during the course of granulation(2)When compounding ratio with granulating water was 1.06, average granulating time was 8min, and binder dosage was 1.05% we got large N220 of carbon black particle with the particle diameter of 1.5mm, iodineabsorption value of 121(g/kg), absorption value of DBP of 113 (10-5m3/kg) ,ash content of 0.2%, pourdensity of 379 (kg/m2) , tinting strength of 113%, and without impurity, which realized carbon black attaining high quality level and eligible product. At a time, new breed of N234 was also made, of which quality can attain basically eligible.(3)Scanning electron micrographs of the surface of carbon black showed that we could attain the granules which have glossily surface and fine density. Therefore, wet granulation studied in this paper is preferable to dry granulation.(4)By the means of dryness technological theoretical calculation, we calculated about 40 min which is runtime in the course of dryness of carbon black.
