Based On Knowledge Of The Fixture Cad System

The study of computer aided fixture design is of vital significance in improving the efficiency and quality of fixture design, inheriting excellence design experience and artifice, prompting the practicability of the computer aided fixture design system.After analysis of fixture design, the author thought the process in fixture design is not unilateralism, and the result need to be validated in the assembling. According to those points, the author proposed a hybrid CBR fixture design method based on parameterized and feature technology.The CAD information of part, process information is paid attention in this method. Firstly, establish the part model based on parameterized and feature technology and database in order to provide full fixture information; Then method in location and clamp is based on those information, and designer choose only one method that is the best suitable. Designer use knowledge based reasoning only when the case based reasoning is not practicable. The content in this paper is included:1) Establish the model of process based on feature technology. The basis in analyzing structure of process model is dividing it with totally feature model, part designing feature model, part material feature model, part material feature model and process feature model.2) Based on the analyses in the structure feature of fixture, the paper discuss the ordinary model and location feature, and found relationship in location model and faces of part.3) Analyzing the key technologies in computer aided fixture design, the paper do research in location and clamp method based on those technologies.4) The feasibility developing system with parameterized and feature technologies is feasibility in developing a system based on knowledge based reasoning technology with VC6.0 and Unigraphics and establishing parameterized part library.
