Fixture design is the key part of production preparation stage,it has a significant impact on production quality,efficiency and cost.However,due to the lack of reasonable methods of knowledge representation,organization and reuse mechanism,the existing experience and knowledge cannot provide support for the design process.Therefore,how to manage the knowledge and improve the intelligent degree of the fixture design process has become one of the important problems in the field of fixture design.In this paper,aiming at the problems existing in the fixture design,an intelligent design technology for fixture based on knowledge components is studied,combined with the knowledge based engineering.First,the knowledge representation of fixture design was achieved through building the ontology models of fixture,workpiece and actual design case.By adopting the knowledge component technology,the knowledge component of fixture planning,fixture and fixture configuration design were created.And they formed a complete knowledge system of fixture design.Second,by analyzing the stage tasks in the fixture design process and combining with the workpiece ontology,some demand models,such as positioning mode design and positioning criterion selection,were constructed.Then,a rule based reasoning method of location mode and location datum was proposed by using association analysis to explore the automatic generation of inference rules,and the entropy weight fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to optimize the location datum.In the end,fixture selection,dimension driving and assembling were discussed based on the compound CBR and RBR technology.According to the above research in this paper,a fixture design system was developed by CAA under the rapid application development environment.
