Fixture is very important equipment in process of machine manufacturing because it can directly affect the quality of products and productivity and cost. It has been the "bottleneck" factor to restraining the development of modern manufacturing technology.Based on the analysis of the content and the point of the design of the fixture, the author used two methods in fixture design. There are CBR and RBR.Though the analysis of the fixture comparability, the rational technology about instance is applied for the practice process of fixture design, at the same time the model for the instance of fixture is set up and express, and then established a part classification and coding system. So the reusability of fixture is improved and obtained the best result of search with the calculating of comparability.Discussing the method of the rule express, designing the data-base of rules, and how to put forward a mining technique of rule of fixture design. Assorting the information of fixture design must be at first, because integrated information is the gist of mining, and then obtain the rules from mining the information of fixture with FP-Tree. Furthermore, in order to abridge the time of searches, the numerical value of rules requires optimizing.A prototype system is analyzed, developed and testified the previous key technology of fixture.
