In this paper,started from increasing the floccule carbon production of pyrotechnic composition,the infrared extinction and physical performances of the floccule carbon pyrotechnic composition arestudied.The generated process and mechanism of floccule carbon are studied emphatically.Theextinction principle,testing method and influencing factors of the floccule carbon pyrotechniccomposition are discussed.The effect of raw material size,combustion temperature and pressure onfloccule carbon production and infrared estinction performance are analyzed systematically.Thetechnology scheme of pyrotechnic composition formulas design that the floccule carbon in this maincomponent of smoke screen is brought forward. The basic formulas that the main components includeasphalt,pressure-sensitire adhesire,rich carbon compound,magnesium powder, and NH4ClO4 aredetermined by experiment contrasting and theoredical analyzing.The experiment results indicate thefloccule carbon production and infrared extinction performance of asphalt and pressure-sensitireadhesire adhesire is better than other rich carbon compounds,According to infrared transmittance testexperiment,the optimal formula of floccule carbon pyrotechnic composition is obtained.The infraredtransmittance is 31%in 3~5μm wave band,and 31%in 8~14μm.The physical performances of basic formula are tested.the results showt the hygroscopic property,vacuum stability and mechanical sensitivity of the floccule carbon pyrotechnic composition accord withthe standard of general pyrotechnic composition,...
