The disquisition is a scientific research of tobacco company in Yunnan province: The Study of New Material for Tobacco Machine Made in own country. The study of this disquisition is one of the tobacco machines: gelatinize roller. At present, this company is using stainless steel instead of porcelain material. But it needs to change frequently, because the stainless steel fray very quickly. So they need a low-cost durable porcelain roller made in own country.There must be a good capability in abrading and cutting with the porcelain material. The text based on the trait of porcelain material and working circumstance, selected Al₂O₃ for study. Based on the require of the roughcast, selected 99 Al₂O₃ for material, cold Isostatic Pressing molding, 1600℃and 24h agglomeration system. After wide machining, install, finish machining, the roughcast will be made into finished product.During tryout, there was a problem of odds in gelatinizing. Analyzed the process of gelatinizing, adsorption process and moist theory, we got the reason and had a project: Decreasing the roughness of roller, and turning the surface into distant with water.Analyzed the way in changing of surface, we used stearic acid to cover with the surface. And this way can not only change the surface into distant with water, but also decrease the roughness of surface. By testing the condition of technics about overlay, confirmed the condition of techics: temperature in 100℃, time in 2h.
