Phthalocyanines have many excellent properties, such as photoconductivity, gas-sensing property, catalytic activity and bionic performance for big conjugated system. With the developed concern of indoor air pollution, how to eliminate indoor formaldehyde becomes the concern of research.In this thesis, iron-phthalocyanine was produced by solid phase synthesis, and microwave synthesis methods. The chemical structure of the iron-phthalocyanine was characterized by FTIR and EDS. Microwave synthesis method, additionally, has merits such as short-synthesis time, high effective, high yielding. Based on the study of technique of microwave synthesis, it was found that the yield of iron-phthalocyanine was greatly influenced by reaction time.Iron-Phthalocyanine was dispersed in PVA serosity, whose rheological property was tested. The spinning technical reference of Iron-Phthalocyanine/PVA fiber composite was settled. IR was used to characterize the structure of the composite and Iron-Phthalocyanine was identified. The mechanical property and formaldehyde decompose ability were tested, the results show that Iron-Phthalocyanine/PVA fiber has good mechanical property as well as reasonable formaldehyde decompose ability.Tetracarboxylicphthalocyanine of iron was synthesized by microwave method and Iron- Phthalocyanine grafted PVA fiber was prepared by solution method. IR shows that tetracarboxylicphthalocyanine of iron was grafted on the surface of PVA fiber.The influence of time and temperature to graft rate were studied, the results show that graft rate improves as time and temperature increased. Grafted PVA fiber has low mechanical property if grafted at a high temperature like 150°C. It is testified that long grafting time at low temperature would benefit a high graft rate PVA fiber with good mechanical property.Good formaldehyde decompose property was testified, and the mechanism was analyzed. Iron-phthalocyanine grafted PVA fiber has better decomposing formaldehyde ability than Iron-phthalocyanine/PVA composite.
