Flexible absorbing materials because of their light weight, easy to use, process stability, low price, easy production features gradually become a major international research. The research direction at home and abroad most of the flexible fabric surface absorbing coating, and the fiber structure of the flexible absorbing materials research has not been reported. An electromagnet wave absorbing flexible non-woven with the carbon fiber and PET which are produced by the non-woven technique is studied in this paper. Carbon fiber is one of the main absorbing fiber, played absorbing function, polyester fiber, fiber matrix as a guarantee that the mechanical properties of the material. These wave absorbing materials used for tent provide with the practicality and economy value, which are applied in the domains of stealth technique and anti-electromagnetic radiation technique. Therefore it would have great significant to study the both in military and civil utilization.There are two mainly facts in this paper:First of all, it is the preparation of absorbing non-woven. At first, the carbon fibers and polyester fiber are equably mixed together with some inverse proportion, and then experience the carding and process to become the tissue web. What the mat formations have been used is parallel mat and cross mat. This is a non-woven material absorbing the rudiment. In order to enhance the mechanics capability, the bulky sheet must be bonded. The consolidation is needle punching. To compare the absorbing performance from the different types of some materials, three kinds of needle density data from small to large is employed to operate the sheet. Finally made of carbon fiber nonwovens absorbing materials.Secondly, Flexible nonwovens inspected the absorbing properties of absorbing material, the material itself is carbon fiber content, thickness, internal structure, porosity, and other aspects of its absorbing properties of materials; And then several technical factors of non-woven process such as carding, the mat formation and the needle density are also quoted to analyze the absorbing performance. Through various test sample in the absorbing performance merits comparison to the comprehensive evaluation, and ultimately select the optimal combination of process.After comprehensive evaluation, when the carbon fiber content at about 7 percent, 8mm in thickness, needle density of 500 thorn / cm~2, GSM 400 g/m~2, the best combinations of the parameters. To be the optimum parameters of the non-woven absorbing materials in the frequency range of 2-18GHz, non-woven absorbing materials in the high frequency range of 8-18GHz, its reflectivity values are less than -5dB, the biggest attenuation reaches -21.94dB, the greatest width of 6.8GHz frequency to a very good absorbing effect, so as to the structure of Flexible Fiber Non-woven absorbing materials research field has laid a solid foundation.
