Thermoplastic composites have more advantages than thermosetting composites: better toughness, resistance destructive; longer service life, recyclable, shorter processing period. The advantages of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites are more important and visible, but at present, the successful processing technology of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites mainly are pultrusion, winding, unidirectional band or two-dimensional fabric compressing molding, etc.Whereas,three-dimensional woven fabric as the perform of textile composites is the ideal material with good integrity, its interlaminar shear strength and impact resistance and other mechanical properties are better than traditional composites. Using commigled yarn with reinforced fiber and thermoplastic fiber can produce three-dimensional woven thermoplastic composites conveniently.In this thesis, the method and technology of fiber glass / polypropylene fiber core-spun yarn on the ring spinning machine are researched;the model of filament strength with the twist changes is established;the technology and production methods of the three-dimensional layer-to-layer cross angle-interlock woven composites and two-dimensional plain woven fabric laminated composites and their tensile and impact properties are studied.The results show that: the production of core-spun yarn on the ring spinning machine is feasible, if the amount of twist is appropriate,core-spun yarn will have a good wrapped effective, and the strength of core-spun yarn will decrease not visibly; the strength ratio of twisting filament and original filament is cos~2a,and the experimental data is coincident with that; the three-dimensional layer-to-layer cross angle-interlock woven composites have better impact property compared with two-dimensional plain woven fabric laminated composites, the unit thickness of maximum load and the total energy have markedly improved, while the tensile strength and tensile modulus are lower;the fiber volume fraction and fineness of the reinforced fiber filament are important influence parameters, within a certain range, the higher the fiber volume fraction,the better the mechanical properties of composites, when the reinforced fiber filament is thinner ,resin is easier to impregnated,and the mechanical properties are better.
