With the development of textile industry, the application range of the computerized embroidery machine is becoming more and more extensive in this field. Among of this, the computerized embroidery machine is a device with the development of electronics and mechanical automation. However, the control level of the embroidery machine is relatively backward in our country, especially in terms of motion control performance, operational efficiency, fault rate. For these reasons, a sort of architecture which is about the software-hardware of the embroidery machine's control system will be introduced in this paper. Meanwhile, based on the architecture the motion control technology and InterProcess Communication will be researched mainly.Firstly, the basic working principle of the embroidery machine is introduced and the architecture of the control system software-hardware is also expounded, subsequently do some supplements and adjustments of Partial Modules Function. Secondly, the movement law of the embroidery machine is studied, and by combining DSB pattern a kind of transformation algorithm is presented and designed about the embroidering control information, thus the motion control performance is improved finally. And then, combined with the control information transformed, the control of principal axis, tabouret, trimming, color changing and the detecting of line break are designed and implemented, and it strengthens the whole function of the system. At last, the conceptions of process and thread are introduced to the design of the system control software, and the InterProcess Communication is also studied deeply, which is applied to the system control software lastly. Therefore, the level, which of running efficiency and multitask of the system control software, is improved largely.The tests indicate that the operation performance of the embroidery machine becomes more steady, and also reduce noise. In addition, the motion control of the control system improved has higher veracity and flexibility, which furthermore improve the intelligence and automation of the embroidery machine's control system.
