Based On The Pro / E Secondary Development Of Die-aided Design Technology

The punching die is one of blacking die,which is used extensively in the industrial production.Pro/E is one of the three-dimensional software used more in die designing.It is necessary to re-develop the Pro/E in order to make it adapt the specialization of designing process and make the enterprise use the Pro/E in higher level.So the studies to develop the professional system aiming at the punching die not only realize the specialization of designing process,but also improve the professional level.This paper uses Pro/TOOLKIT and Visual C++.NET to develop the aided design system of the punching die to increase designing efficiency and the operating factor of the Pro/E.Firstly,the paper gives an entire analysis to the application situation for the Die CAD technique and its use in design of the punching die.Based on the analysis,the configuration of the system(PDAD)is proposed and the three modules of the system, aided design calculation,standard component library,assembly design,are designated.Secondly,the function arrangement of the module of aided design calculation, according to the design calculation process of the punching dies.The calculation function is developed to complete calculation of the blanking force,the ejecting force,the unload force,the dimension of cutting edge.The store and inquiry of calculation factor is completed using database.Designing speed is improved.Thirdly,the paper accomplishes the total design of the standard component library based on the analysis and induction of other libraries,proposes the library should have the function of parameter display,parameter research,parameter amendment and analyzes the advantage to arrange this function.This library consists of parameterized model library,parameter library of the standard component characteristic and interface,and is able to display parameter,search parameter,amend parameter,regenerate mold.The modeling speed is improved.SQL Server is used to store and manage the standard component because there are many kinds of the standard component and many parameters of some standard components.Fourthly,the key technologies about parameterized modeling,database visiting, menu establishing and communication between system and Pro/E are solved based on elaboration of the concrete method for re-developing Pro/E.The paper quests the re-developing method of the assembly function based on Pro/E to some extent.The module of assembly design is developed,which is used to assemble parts of punching die.At last,CAM of the curved surface is investigated to integrate the CAD/CAM for the system.
