Both mineral energy and the original mineral are indispensable material for the foundation of mankind existence,development of society and progress of civilization.China is great power on mining,consumes huge quantity of the mineral products,but the personal consume quantity is low.Chinese is rich in iron resources,the iron resources have many characteristics,for example,distributes extensively,completely type of deposit,complex types of ore,much the companion or paragenesis composition etc,but the resources which can be provided for the development of economy are shortage,so that which is need to be massively imported annually.How to develop and make use effectively of the low content iron resources is key problem that iron resources mining industry of china has to be faced in the future.The shallow-seated iron ore bed of Dahongshan,Kunming Idon & Steel(Group)Co.Ltd, have great capacity of irion,the shallow-seated lava iron resource keeps 71,717,700 tons of B+C+D grade outer & inner form of reserve up to July 2006.The amount of TFe is 19.95%and contains 14,308,000 tons of iron metal,among which,copper-iron ore are 9,137,600 tons and the amount of TFe is 21.19%and contains 1,936,000 tons of iron metal, the copper amount is 0.25%,and contains 23,000 tons of the copper metals.Although the shallow-seated iron ore bed have the charactics of large reserves,shallow burial depth, needing simple conditions of mining technology,and the magnetic iron mineral is easily to process among the mineral,it has been carried on by many researches and arguments in past very well,but because of the low iron content and the dissatisfied of economic performance,the project is disregard finally.Currently,because the price of steel market increases gradually and the scale of deep-seated iron resource of Dahongshan has been expanded to 4 million tons annually,it will brings great influence on the exploitation of shallow-seated iron ore bed resources.After considering many factors,the research of feasibility on the shallow-seated iron ore bed resources is decided to be carried on.Analysised and comparied with the different projects in engineering possibility research, the projects are underground mining style with annual 0.6 million tons production-scale, opencast mining style with annual 1.8million tons and combination of underground -opencast mining style,and technical economy evaluation between underground mining style and opencast mining style is detailed carried on.Although opencast mining style is not-for-profit item,the conditions that it is large-scale mining production,high level utilization rate of resources,two times quantity of concentrate more than underground mining style almost and obvious social benefits,all of which make opencast mining style be suggested be carried on.At the same time,the main influence factors have effects on the economic benefits of mining project is analysized profoundly.of which the internal factors contain:mining scale, mineral processing technology,production cost,and external factors contain:mining market,industrial policy,industral policy,etc.The results of analysis and evaluation show that the main sensitive factors which affect opencast mining project economic benefit contains:geological resources and grade,scale of production and process,production cost and cost,sales price of products and tax,industrial policy,etc.With Gray System Theories G(1,1)model and the improvement model of BP Neural Network Algorithm,the future product price is forecasted through the software of Matlab7.0.The production scale is analyzed by the way of H.K.Taylor's empirical formula,mining engineering annual descends speed method,the production scale which is put forward to make sure a method by China University of Mining & Technology and arrangiable average amount of power shovd on open-mine working method,and reasonable production scale of opencast mining for the shallow-seated iron ore bed is comprehensively analyzed acrroding to objective condition;analyzed and inquiried into the main measure to reduce production cost;and the scale of production is determined according to the result of predict product price and the analysis,an economic benefits dynamic state analytical model with 3.9 millions tons annual production scale inside service-life is built up,tried to calculate the initial data of influence that a sensitive factor affect the item economic benefits by the model.The concrete control measures and suggestion that may raise the item economic benefits by industry policy is investigated,too.The opinion of writter's research conclusion can offer reference for the mining-decision of shallow-seated iron ore bed of Dahongshan,Kunming Irion & Steel(Group)Co.Ltd.
