In order to solving the problems of mine water disaster emergency rescue management, GIS is applied to manage mine water disaster emergency rescue information in this research, make rescue units and persons query various rescue information promptly, contact various rescue materials and men fast, save more time for mine water disaster emergency rescue, reduce loss made by water disaster, and apply a scientific approach for hurry-up rescue.This research sets up a set mine water disaster emergency rescue management information system with domestic component GIS software SuperMap Objects 5, relational database technique and computer program technique, serving scientific, normalized, information management for mine water disaster emergency rescue information , and offer a experience and reference for setting up other mine disaster rescue management system. Make a mine water disaster emergency rescue information profile by digitizing paper map with CAD and SuperMap Deskpro 5.0. set up mine disaster emergency rescue system model with Visual Basic 6.0. In this system, various rescue information is showed by different color. The attribute information can be shown by choosing some element on the profile, and the map can be shown by choosing the attribute too. When the rescue information is changed, the profile can be updated automatically by modifying the attribute data, the emergency rescue information can be managed dynamically and queried.This research takes FengXiang coal mine in ZunYi county as a example, according to the data collected from field engineering, research the water disaster rescue materials and men distribution situation, set up mine basis information and rescue information database, make a mine water disaster rescue information profile, connect the profile with its attribute information through programming, and the water disaster rescue emergency management is set up completely.
