It has been the hot research field to construct metal-organic coordination polymers with high orderly structure from organic ligands and metal ions in coordination chemistry supramolecular chemistry and material science.The increasing interest in this field is justified not only by the particular beauty and intriguing structural diversities of the architectures,but also by their potential application as functional materials in optoelectronic,magnetic,catalytic and inclusive fields.The selection of multifunctional organic ligands and metal ion is crucial to the construction of desirable frameworks.It is of great importance to study of the relationship between design,structure and property and establish proper synthetic strategies and rules leading to desirable supramolecular systems through controlling the assembly process of metal-organic frameworks.In this dissertation,3,4,5,6-tetrafluorophthalic acid,9,10-dihydro anthracene-9,10-endo-α,β-succinic acid,Biphenyl diamine Tetraacetic acid were selected as the first ligands to synthesize 15 new coordination compounds through solution reaction,hydrothermal synthesis with imidazole,2-Methy-imidazole,2-Ethyl-imidazole,Pyridine,4,4-Bipyridine Bipyridine,1,10 phenanthroline as the second ligands.These complexes were characterized by FT-IR, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography.Magnetic properties and electrochemical properties of several coordination compounds were studied1.3,4,5,6-tetrafluorophthalic acid was selected as the first ligand to synthesize 4 new coordination compounds through solution reaction with imidazole,2-Methy-imidazole,2-Ethylimidazole,Pyridine as the second ligands.[Co(tfpa)(im)2]n(1A),[Co2(tfpa)2(Meim)4](2A),[Co2(tfpa)2(Etim)4](3A),[Ni(tfpa)(Py)2(im)2](4A).Among of them,complexes 1A is one-dimensional chains;2A,3A(double nuclear) are one-dimensional structure linked by H2O molecular;4A(single) is one-dimensional structure linked by H2O molecular.In addition,The Electrochemical properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that Metal ions which exit in the compounds are more stable than free ions.2.9,10-dihydro anthracene -9,10-endo-α,β-succinic acid was selected as the first ligand to synthesize 7 new coordination compounds through hydrothermal synthesis with imidazole,4, 4-Bipyridine Bipyridine,1,10 phenanthroline as the second ligands.[Co4(dasa)4(H2O)8]n(1B),[Co2(dasa)2(im)2]n(2B),[Co2(dasa)2(H2O)2]n(3B),[Ni2(dasa)2(H2O)2]n(4B),[Co2(dasa) (1,10-phen)2]n(5B),[Ni2(dasa)(1,10-phen)2]n(6B),{[Ni(im)6]2+} {[dasa]2-}(7B).Among of them,1B(Distortion of the tetrahedron) isone-dimensional chains.2B(Distorfion of the octahedral) is one-dimensional chains.3B,4B are two-dimensional structures through cross-cutting. 5B,6B(single nuclear).7B is formed by ionic bond.The Electrochemical properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that Metal ions which exit in the compounds are more stable than free ions.The magnetic properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that between M(Ⅱ) ion exhibit antiferromagnetic interreaction.3.We selected Biphenyl diamine Tetraacetic acid as the ligand.4 complexes were synthesized which have not been reported,[Co4(bdta)2(H2O16]n(1C)and the crystal structure of 1C complex was determined.It show that the ligand a cobalt ion linkes to two nitrogen atoms which are from two ligands.The structure of the compplex is distorted Octahedron.Molecules are linked by Hydrogen bonds and form three-dimensional network structure.At the same time,the other three complexes were characterized by FT-IR,and we can know their possible structure.The Electrochemical properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that Metal ions which exit in the compounds are more stable than free ions.The magnetic properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that between M(Ⅱ) ion exhibit antiferromagnetic interreaction.
