This thesis summarizes the micro manufacturing and micro combined machining technologies.there are some disadvantage and advantage in Micro-USM (Ultrasonical Maching),Micro-ECM(electrochemical machining))and Micro- EDM(electrical discharged machining).The Ultrasonical Combined Electromaching(EDM,ECM) technologies can overcome the shortage of single machining,it has both advantage of EDM,ECM.some fundamental research of Ultrasonical Combined Micro-EDM,Micro-ECM are carried out ,the paper try to study a techique for hard and conduction material,improve the gap status,increase the accuracy.Ultrasonical Combined ECM merge the USM and ECM features.Because of the inaction electrolyte ,there are passivating film on the workpiece.Micro grinding material can remove the passivating film by grinding and electrolyte attacking. This assure the chemical reaction.In the Ultrasonical Combined EDM, the micro grinding material disperse dischargethe insulation electrolyte,the ultrasonic vibration can reduce short circuit greatly.in the same time , ultrasonic vibration generate cavitation,pump inlet and eddy flow ,which can improve the efficency of impulsive discharge.After discussing the mechanics of Ultrasonical Combined electromaching ,the processing unit was built,which can realise Ultrasonical Combined EDM,Ultrasonical Combined ECM. The machining tool applied in micro-machining field is very small; its request of accuracy is very high, so the design and manufacture of micro-tool-cathode is one of the key technology and difficulty in combined micro-machining of UCM and ECM. Combined electronic discharge machining is used to make cathodes. The different section micro-tool has been designed which is made in the Multi axes synchronous precision electro-discharge machine with the method of"multi-axle linking feeds","conversion of inner-outer surface","copy adding translate". Some experiments are set on the base of Ultrasonical Combined electromaching. contrast tests between single ultrasonic machining and ultrasonic combined machining are carried , The feasibility, reliability and technology advantages of combined micro-machining of UCM and ECM are further validated.Machining efficiency and surface quality as well as waster of tool electrodes influenced by electrical parameter and non- electrical parameter are mainly discussed. the experimental result shows that good machining precision and the surface quality are gained in ultrasonic combined machining.the possibility and advantage of the combined technology of ultrasonic and electromachining has been proved.In the course of experiments several special phenomenon and problems are found. Furthermore, problems, shortage and its improvement means are also suggested. Then further study work is put forward.
