Vast areas of subsidence lands of coal extraction on the plains cause damage to the ecological environment and slow down local economic growth.Consequently,a series of social problems and contradictions have occurred. The traditional land reclamation pattern cannot resolve the sustainable development problems that coal mine subsidence is facing,so it is urgent to improve the ecological environment and achieve the best ecological, social and economic benefits after eco-rehabilitation according to the local natural conditions and societal economy.According to the requirements of sustainable development, the aim of the reclamation of subsidence lands is clearly pointed out after analyzing the research of the present situation and the trend on this issue at home and abroad, which is to reconstruct ecological system and realize ecological industry chain. On the basis of the investigation and the analysis of the subsidence lands and the reclamation status in Jining and taking the reclamation of subsidence lands as the cut-in point of the sustainable development of ecology and economy and a major turning point from a coal industry city to an ecological city, the author puts forward the strategy of building Big Agriculture Big Tourism and Big Ecology according to the city construction and the tourism development of Jining City. Based on different types of subsidence lands, respective restoration scheme and three kinds of reclamation patterns are set forth by the author. In order to get the long-term effect, suggestions are given in terms of the utilization and the management mode of subsidence lands after reclamation. Finally, the practicability of the reclamation scheme is explained through analyzing benefits of ecological reclamation of the subsidence lands.
