Solid substrate room temperature phosphorescence (SS-RTP) is a testing means that combining with micro-technology and trace analysis. It has advantages of high sensitivity,wider linear range,less sample, rapid and cheap.The key of this technology is how to find a suitable substrate. Filter paper is in common use.in this paper, the synthesis of grafted filter paper withβ-cyclodextrin and monochlorotriazinyl-β-cyclodextrin. The RTP properties of some organic pollutions on this two grafted paper were investigated.combination of solid phase extraction(SPE) and SS-RTP is developed for determination of some Poly-aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) and nitrogen heterocycles (NHC) in environment water samples with satisfied result.In chapter 1, a brief view was given onβ-cyclodextrin, the application ofβ- cyclodextrin and monochlorotriazinyl-β-cyclodextrin in RTP, and solid phase extration also was describled.In chapter 2, the experimental method ofβ-cyclodextrin (β-CD) grafted filter paper was developed. Experimental conditions ofβ-cyclodextrin bonded filter paper was optimized. RTP behavior of more than 10 organics on the grafted filter paper were studied. The result indicated that the intensities of RTP of several PAHs and NHCs were selectively intensified on the grafted filter paper, and the sensitivities of determination of them were enhanced.with this method environment water sample were determined, and with satisfied result.In chapter 3, the sythesis of grafted paper with monochlorotriazinyl-β-cyclodextrin expermental conditons of the preparation of the grafted filter paper was optimized, including the temperature, bake time and so on. in additon, the grafted filter paper was characterized by differernt scaning calorimetry(DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA),demonstrating the covalent binding of cyclodextrins to filter paper. the qualitfication ofβ-CD was determined by the dye extinction method with the inclusion of phenolphthalein.In chapter 4, the grafted paper with MCT-β-cyclodextrin and the application in room temperature phosphorescence.in addition,studied some kinds of PAHs and NHCs, compared with non-graftde paper,the intensity of phosphorescene of 7,8-benzoquinoline, fluorene, acenaphthene and carbazole were greatly improved and the detection of limit also improved obviously. In this paper we choosed four of them as the analytics. The effects of 4 kinds of heavy atoms on SS-RTP were investigated, and the experimental conditions were optimized. The method was applied to the determination of carbazole fluorene, acenapthene and 7,8-benzoquinoline in tap water and river water samples with satisfactory result.
