In this paper, the important part of body welding fixture——rear floor of the car body welding fixture design and production line design are researched, And spot welding robot body trajectory is simulated. The characteristics of the car body and design for welding line and fixture are introduced at the first of the text. Then, in accordance with the requirements of welding, spot welding techniques are described in detail which are used in Welding of the body, other kind of welding like laser welding techniques are briefly described.The fixture of the rear floor body's three-dimensional design and analysis is focused on, Specific design process is: Firstly, two types of design proposals are identified and assessed based on the characteristics of items to be welded, A structural analysis of the practical application proposal is particular conducted.Then, Simulation is carried out for each unit to check interference of the designed fixture. And the principle of setting welding gun is introduced. The thinking of flexible assembly is reflected throughout the process of three-dimensional fixture design. That after, Combined with the specific circumstances of the workshop, rear floor'welding assembly line is designed and planned. Finally, Two-dimensional works of three-dimensional jig mapping is completed, including benchmarks and component mapping dimension. Meanwhile, Dimensioning of two-dimensional part is not only detailed information on size, tolerance principles and methods of marking, production and processing requirements of the process is given, but also specific examples are given to verified. The design method in the paper used for welding fixture can also use for other parts car body's design. Spot welding robot body trajectory simulation are as follows: Using DELMIA software to simulate the welding robot and plan welding path to ensure robot's type,number and welding guns'reach. The Path planning is the most influential factors in robot itself, so as to focus on the control of robot itself. Ultimately hope to generate welding trajectory code. In order to reduce the debugging time, use DELMIA application to design the robot welding car's left behind rear floor beam thirty-one of the movement path spot and run a simulation example to show the rationality of the path.
