The support of deep roadway is a most complex international problem in rock mechanics. For a long time, people at home and abroad who working in mining, tunneling and rock mechanics do lots of research on failure mechanism and supporting technique of deep roadway .But because of the complexity geological condition of deep tunnel, there may be exist some difficulty in the research of this question.The Tangkou coal mining which located in the north-western of Jining city, Shandong province is one of the deepest mines in China. The mine has the characters of very deep, complex of geological construe and low strength of tunnel surrounding rocks,which make the support of tunnel difficult. Under the action of high stress. the turbulence of mining is so intensive and the damage of tunnels is so serious that the safety and high efficiency of mine production are influenced greatly.Therefore,with the research object of the southern roadway of Tangkou coal mining, based on the field investigation, collection of related datum at home and abroad, study and analysis of lots of field measurement datum, this paper studies on the deformation and damage mechanics of deep tunnels, defines the main factors of affecting the tunnel deformation, analyzes the combined action support of rock bolts and rock cables by numerical simulation,so as to solve the support difficulty of deep tunnel in particular conditions . So the following job are done in this paper:(1) Field monitoring of roadwayIn the southern roadway of Tangkou coal mining, measuring anchors are installed to monitor the job status of anchors, analyse and study the job status of anchors and the select of the parameters of anchor; anchor, cable mechanical stress sensors are installed to study the interaction mechanism of anchors and cables; through the surrounding rock drilling exploration, analysis how abscission layer effect the common support of anchors and cables.(2) The support mechanism study of anchors and cables in deep roadwaySumming up the results of previous studies and based on a deep analysis of scene monitoring data, study the combined action and support mechanism of anchors and cables so as to provide a theoretical basis for the support design of surrounding rock in deep roadway. (3) Numerical simulation of anchors and cables combined support parameters in deep roadwayThe finite difference procedures-FLAC3D is applied to numerical simulation, study the deformation and failure mechanism of roadway , analyse the deformation and failure feature of roadway , analyse the control mechanism of roadway's surrounding rock deformation under different forms of support and parameters , study the combined action and combined support mechanism of anchors and cables and evaluate the effect of support.(4) Combined support program design of anchors and cablesAccording to above conclusions and law of site monitoring data, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation in the Tangkou coal mine, a combined support program of anchors and cables aimed to the special circumstances of Tangkou coal mine which is suitable for the Tangkou coal mine is put forward.
