In recent years, automotive, communications, electric power, transport, and so the development of the industry, maintenance-free battery industry is developing rapidly, as a battery grid with the series lead-calcium alloy developed very rapidly and the increased demand quickly. However, as linear casting machines, disc production technology ingot casting machine difficult to resolve serious slagging lead-calcium alloy, alloy ingot components fail, domestic production of lead-calcium casting is still used artificial. Artificial lead-calcium alloy casting production efficiency of the production of low, and labor intensive, high cost, lack of uneven quality and can not meet the current lead-calcium alloy production technology needs. Against this background, we and a domestic smelting enterprises have developmented a constant weight and Quantitative automatically gating system that was based on the linear casting machine.In this paper, we have do the research in the control technology of constant weight and Quantitative automatically gating system. In order to enable the development of automated gating system and linear casting machine to match, and reached a low melt oxidation, spindles and re-adjustable precision targets, we has carried out the research in the following paper: 1) Designed a machine that with linear synchronous movement, a four casting, ingot-precision, melt keep constant level (no return), features and electrical integrated automatic casting systems, and the system match with linear casting machine, alloy ingot achieve the efficient, high-quality production.2) We constructed the automatic pouring control system ,whose core is the "PLC + Converter" , containing melt weighing \ watered-position detection \ touch screen input, and other components of the sensor input, and developed the corresponding control software. It realized pouring system keep step with linear casting machine, heavy spindles and precise control of online adjustable functions.3) We focused analysis the difficult casting technology of constant weight, and establish the model of control object, then do the PID virtual simulation, accessed to the control parameters, achieved the weight (Level) constant in the casting process melts and ensure a flow of pouring stability.4) We have carried out the research the relationship between the Parameters of Rehydration control and the melt flow characteristics in the pipeline. Under the premise of melt in ensuring a weight (level) constant and no return, in order to obtain an optimum melt pump flow to make the melt do not solidificate in the transportation pipeline, we used the Fluent analysis software analysis the different frequency melt pump under control Infusion of the temperature field, obtained the best frequency inverter control of the melt pump.5) We did the pilot production of the constant weight and Quantitative automatically gating control system in the industrial scene,realized the system alloy ingot matching with the linear casting machine and continuous automatic producted, ingot weight, convenient Online adjustment ,evenly slagging low rate and achieved the anticipated goal. The results of control technology research provide an effective way for easily oxidized alloy casting automatically.
