Continuous casting secondary cooling control is an important link in the process of molten steel continuous casting which determines the surface temperature of the shell,the crystallization of molten steel and the quality of slab directly.The continuous casting process has the characteristics of complex structure,strong coupling,complex reaction mechanism and so on.Its production conditions are relatively too poor to conduct field experimental operation.The formation of continuous casting secondary cooling process control simulation system help to realize the structural design,parameter optimization and algorithm verification of the secondary cooling control system.So that it shorten the development cycle of the secondary cooling control system and reduced investment.The innovation of this paper is to establish the valve flow characteristics and pressure characteristics of the software simulation.The main works of this paper are as follows:First of all,the design of simulation system.The hardware platform and the software platform of the continuous casting secondary cooling simulation system are developed and the function design of each part of the simulation system is completed.Second,the simulation of continuous casting technology parameters based on the touch screen.Simulating the changes of tundish temperature and casting speed in the MCGS configuration software to realize the setting of parameters such as the casting cycle,casting temperature and reference value of casting speed and so on.It can simulate the casting conditions of continuous casting process more precisely.The MCGS configuration software establishes communication with the PLC through the MPI standard adapter.Third,the design of the continuous casting secondary cooling monitoring system based on WinCC.According to the continuous casting secondary cooling technological process,the WinCC configuration software is used to design the monitoring interface of secondary cooling process.Establishing the communication between PLC and WinCC through Ethernet and setting up the related parameters in the system.The relevant data in the secondary cooling process are collected,the changes of working state and related parameters in continuous casting secondary cooling process are reflected timely and accurately through the window of man-machine interaction.Finally,the formation of PLC secondary cooling control system.Considering the influence of the sudden change of casting speed on the secondary cooling zone and the billet surface temperature,combined with the conventional secondary cooling water model,this paper uses the secondary cooling water distribution model based on the virtual casting speed and the superheat of liquid steel.According to the dynamic mathematical model of the control valve,the flow characteristic of the control valve is simulated,the flow of each section is calculated,the PID parameters are adjusted and the debugging is carried out.At the same time,the influence of the virtual casting speed on the secondary cooling water and the surface temperature of slab was studied through the connection debugging.
