This paper introduces design structure of the percussion delay tube, analysis the influance factors of ignition sensitivity and reliability and delay precision of the percussion delay tube. The ignition sensitivity and reliability of the percussion delay tube have been dicussed through percussion primer percussion composition choice and primer structure improvement and production technology optimization and production parameter sureness and test condition sureness.This paper dicusses delay precision of percussion delay tube through the delay element design and delay composition choice and metal tube choice and the influence factors of delay composition precision and delay cable production technology optimization. The design proposal of the percussion delay tube has been put forward. And test result shows that the percussion delay tube is improved obviously. It is satisfied with the application requirement of the fuze. Now, these achievements are used to a few type of initiating explosive device design.
