With the increasing of the city size, the MTR has become a major component of urban transportation. Because of its unique operating environment, its'emergency rescue and evacuation has a congenital deficiencies. How can we ensure that the subway passengers can be quickly evacuated to the security zone of the ground from the underground stations within a reasonable period of time, this is a difficult issue.Paper Xizhimen subway station in Beijing as the main object of my study, after researching and analyzing various data, I draw out the precise map of Xizhimen subway station. By statistical analysis of the video materials in the past, we obtained the characteristics of the pedestrian's flow in the Xizhimen subway station. After obtained the statistical data, the peak flux can be calculated using the flow method. After comparing the three evacuation simulation software, the STEPS is selected as an analytical tool to establish the evacuation analysis model, and then simulate the evacuation process at the peak. With the simulated result, the article take up with the weakness of the evacuation process, and then draw out some solutions responding to the causes.
