With the development of Surface Mount Technology, solder paste has become one of the most important electronic materials for components assembly in electronic industry. However, in recent years as people's strenghtned awareness of environmental and healthy protection, as well as relevant international laws and regulations, the electronic industry are facing the pressure to replace conventional Sn-Pb solders with lead-free ones.It has been reported in the literature that 3-(N-salicyloyl)-amino-1,2,4-triazole and N,N'-bis-salicyloyl-decanedioic acid dihydrazide are two compositions of flux which contain N-type with function of anti-oxidation and metal passivation.They exert their effects of suppressing the viscosity change of an Sn-based, lead-free solder paste through adsorbing on the surface of metal to keep pasty characteristic of the tin soldering paster , and to extend the shelf life of it as well as protecting the oxidizing of tin, zinc, copper of the lead-free solder paster in reflow soldering. Thus they have good application prospects, However, China merely depends on importing these two compositions nowadays to be processed into flux and correspondingly be prepared to lead-free solder paste.This thesis mainly work at expatiating the synthesis of methyl salicylate, ethyl salicylate, phenyl salicylate, 4-nitrophenyl-2-hydroxybenzoate, 2-nitrophenyl-2-hydroxybenzoate and p-methoxy salicylate. And reaction of six types of salicylates and 3-amino-1-1,2,4-triazol were taken to obtain 3-(N-salicyloyl)-amino-1,2,4-triazole respectively. The structure was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The appropriate reaction conditions are as follows: phenyl salicylate and 3-amino-1-1,2,4-triazol are reactants, DMF as solvent, and 100℃for 8 h, and the yield is reached 54%. And the thesis states the synthesizing of two ramifications as well.Two methods, i.e. reaction of salicylic acid hydrazide and sebacoyl chloride, or reaction of salicylic chloride and sebacic dihydrazide were taken to obtain N,N'-bis-(salicyloyl)-decanedioic acid dihydrazide. The structure was characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,MS and elemental analysis. The appropriate reaction conditions are as follows: DMF as solvent, triethylamine as antacid, salicylhydrazide:decanedioyl dichloride = 2.2: 1.0 (mole ratio), and 90℃for 7 h, and the yield is reached 80%.This thesis will state the method of changing the length of carbon chain, reacting of salicylhydrazide and aliphatic diacid dichloride were taken to obtain N,N'-bis-(salicyloyl)-aliphatic diacid dihydrazide. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS.At the end of the thesis it explains the trial results of 3-(N-salicyloyl)-amino-1,2,4-triazole and N,N'-bis-salicyloyl-dodecanedioic (decanedioic, suber) acid dihydrazide no obtaining gelation ability in organic solvents at 0.01g/2mL through gelater experiment. But we found that solvents with alcohols such as triethylene glyol have good solubility.
