The use and synthetic methods for hydrazide compounds and substitued ureas compounds are reviewd in this dissertation. In order to solve the current problem of inadequate synthesis, we have design and synthesize a series of compounds, and study the performance. Main tasks are as follows:1. Synthesis of N,N'-bis-(2-salicyloyl)-isophthalic acid dihydrazide was synthesized with self-made salicylhydrazide and isophthaloyl chloride as raw materials, DMF as a solvent, triethylamine as an antacid, isophthaloyl chloride: salicylhydrazide = 1.00: 2.75 (mole ratio), for 9 h at 90℃, the yield was achieved 79.3%. At the same condition, N,N'- bis-(2-salicyloyl)-terephthalic acid dihydrazide was synthesized, and the yield was 80.2%. The two products were confirmed by 1H NMR and MS etc., and they were carried with TG analysis and applied research to PVC, and were shown a good thermal stability.2. Synthesis of N,N''-1,6-hexanediyl-bis-(N'-octadecyl urea) was synthesized with self-made 2,2,2-trichloro-N-[6-[(2,2,2-trichloroacetyl)amino]hexyl] acetamide and octadecylamine as raw materials, DMSO as a solvent, alkali as a activator, the appropriate reaction conditions are as follows: 2,2,2-trichloro-N-[6-[(2,2,2-trichloroacetyl)amino] hexyl]acetamide: octadecylamine: activator K2CO3= 1: 2.3: 3(mole ratio), for 1.0 h at 80℃, the yield was achieved 95.46%. 1-octyl-3-octadecyl urea; 1-butyl-3-phenyl urea; 1-octyl-3-phenyl urea; 1-octadecyl-3-phenyl urea; 1-benzyl-3-phenyl urea; 1-methyl-1,3-disphenyl urea; 1-butly-3-octyl urea; 1,3-dioctyl urea ; 1,3-dioctadecyl urea ; N,N''-1,2-ethanediyl-bis-(N'-methyl urea); N,N''-1,6-hexanediyl-bis-(N'-methyl urea); N,N''-1,6-hexanediyl-bis-(N'-butyl urea) and N,N''-1,6-hexanediyl-bis-(N'-octyl urea) were synthesized. The structure was characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,IR and elemental analysis etc.3. In the gelater experiment, the phenomenon is observed that N,N''-1,6- hexanediyl-bis-(N'-octadecyl urea) having good gelation property in alcohols organic solvents such as cyclohexanol, phenylmethanol at 0.06 g /2 mL. N,N'-bis-(2-salicyloyl) isophthalic acid dihydrazide no obtain gelation property in organic solvents at 0.01 g / 2 mL.
