This paper is advanced to meet large capacity and high efficiency of sieving machine of Jiangxi Copper Group Co. Ltd, combining practice.Sieving theory and optimal design method of extra-heavy vibrating sieve have been researched, resolving the problem of extra-heavy vibrating sieve in design and production, breaking the bottle-neck of large vibrating sieve which depends on import, and meeting enterprise requisition for development.(1) The operational principle of large vibrating sieve have been reserched, and the circular vibrating sieve of Metso Minerals have been designed and improved based on spot engineering testing. There are high strength bolts connected sideboard and screen box, and latex multiplex spring were selected because of their strong antivibration.There are double automatic synchronous drive motors,box-type offset exciter and closed type breathers,which to improve once-off sieving rate and reduce dynamic load of vibrating sieve, consequently, extend the life of accessories,such as screen, bearing and so on.(2) On the basis of actual production needs,the paper have calculated the main motion parameters, process parameters, vibration characteristics parameters of vibrating sieve and structure parameters of screen surface, and gotten the design theory of extra-heavy vibrating sieve.(3) The structure parameters of extra-heavy vibrating sieve have been designed optimizationally, which focused on the screen surface amplitude, vibration frequency, inclination and length, as well as the exciting design and calculation of the direction angle. With the largest screen machine screening efficiency as the goal, considering the treatment capacity screen surface and the life of screen box,MATLAB is used to optimum designed. By combining with the routine design, it shows that this sieve has high capacity and high efficiency.(4) The compression and stiffness experiment of the rubber spring have been done by appling in 2YAC2460 extra-heavy vibrating sieve and the inherent characteristics of vibrating sieves were tested by application of M303 intelligent signal analysis system. Through theoretical analysis and empirical testing, 2YAC2460 extra-heavy -duty examination shaker mechanical model of the linear vibration theory was established.Conclusions obtained in this paper 2YAC2460 has significance to design and optimization of structural parameters for the large and highly efficient vibration screening equipment ,providing a theoretical basis and the factual basis as well.
