Due to the rapid development of technology and integration of global economy, the condition of competition and survival to any company has changed radically. The quality of the product has become the strategic weapon to survive and develop the enterprise's business, and many domestic and foreign enterprises lay more focus on improving the product quality. Statistical process control (SPC) is the basis and implementation of quality control, which plays a crucial role in the control.It displays scientific and efficient traits especially in mass production. The branch of China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corporation--Huaiyin Cigarette Factory contrived a new computer software "Dynamic Analysis Of Quality of Tobacco Shred Production Line System".This system collects data, calculates and analyzes them during the process of shred production by modern computer technology and statistical process control theory in order to fulfill the goal of quality control.Combining the theory of Statistical process control (SPC) and software engineering, the present research systematically explains the design and execution of several critical links such as need analysis, model design, quality evaluation and visualization in the system of dynamic analysis of quality of cut tobacco.The content includes such aspects:1)On the basis of detailed analysis of existing problems, needs and traits in product quality control of current cigarette industry in China, a conceptual model of data collection and analysis is proposed in the research.2) The paper also introduces how does this system apply the statistical process control technology to deal with data processing, calculation and analysis, and how does this system use the results to control the production.3)The research contrives and constructes the overall structure of the model of shred production line. The work elaborates the system's four constituents:data collection, data processing, dynamic analysis and automatic detection alarm and working process.The practice of the system proves that this system not only improves the quality of the thread-level control, but also provides strong protection for the stability of the cigarette product quality.
