Study, Based On The Concept Of Slow Life Teahouse Furniture Design

In the modern society, the pace of life is getting faster and faster while people are getting more and more life pressure, the pursuit of getting a healthier and more pleasant life-style is most people's emotional desires and wishes. The essence of slow life is not only limited to "slow" itself, its value is to experience a kind of more leisurely, orderly way of life.This thesis is studied on the basis of the notion of slow life, according to the research and analysis of the tea house furniture in Hangzhou, by analysing the life demands and behavior under the conception of slow life, to re-examine the design forms of tea house furniture, studying its scale and form moulding, while paying attentions to the internal relations of natural materials and flexible life. By the means of slow design, it seeks to the regain and revival of the decomposed and vanished precious tradition in this pace-quickened modern world, While having a taste on the simple, natural, tranquil and easeful poetic life conception of the old Hangzhou.
