With the steady growth of the global economy,it is increasingly serious with resource consumption and environmental burden in the construction industry.Reducing energy consumption and pollution emissions is common problem around us for protecting the environment.Wood house will undoubtedly be a competitive construction in the future.An assessment model of wood house was built.The model included three assessment objects:log house,light wood-frame house and the European wood house.Inventory data was collected from three different wood plants in China about the wood house prefabrication.Moreover,the life circle assessment software-GaBi was used to get the environmental form and load of wood house in the life circle scope in the purpose of obtaining the quantitative environmental impact.Meanwhile,three different types of wood house was compared from resource,energy and environmental load and get the most environmentally friendly type of wood house.The results proposed these not only could provide some proposals of green production for wood structure enterprise,but also lay the foundation of LCA in wood in wood industry.Firstly,the LCA evaluation model of wood house was established according to the international and domestic standards.Some related problems about LCA of wood house was included,such as evaluation object,system boundary,functional unit,inventory type and so on.The three different types of wood houses were evaluated by this model,and the results of environmental effects on the three kinds of wood houses were obtained.Secondly,the results of environmental effects on three kinds of wood houses were evaluated by GaBi6.0 software.The environmental effect results of log house was GWP>HTP>ADP>AP>POCP>EP;The environmental effect results of light wood-frame house was HTP>ADP>GWP>AP>POCP>EP;The environmental effect results of the European wood house was HTP>ADP>GWP>AP>POCP>EP;Prefabrication was were mainly responsible for the three different obtaining.Then,the results of three different types of wood houses were compared and analyzed from three aspects:resource consumption,energy consumption and environmental load.In resource consumption,the overall results showed that the most consumer was the European wood house,followed by light wood-frame house and the least was log house,indicating that log house wood was the most resource saving type.In energy consumption,the results of three kinds of wood houses was log house(3 03.43MJ)?light wood-frame house(2037.20MJ)and the European wood house(2167.32MJ).The overall results of energy consumption showed that the most consumer was the European wood house,followed by light wood-frame house and the least was log house,indicating that log house wood was the most energy saving type.In the environmental load,the environmental load of the European wood house was the most,accounting for 40.0%of the total environmental load,followed by 38.3%of the light wood-frame house and 21.7%of the log house.Thus,the most environmentally friendly is log house.Finally,according to the environmental impact of the results,some green manufacturing recommendations,including the purchase of raw materials,transport selection,sewage treatment and so on,were proposed to the wooden structure manufacturing enterprises.
