In this paper, the filtrate reducer (AM/AA/AS) is synthesized by microwave polimeriza-tion, using acrylamide (AM),acrylic acid (AA),propylene sulfonate (AS) as main materials, ammonium persulfate-sodium bisulfite as redox initiator. AM/AA/AS can be used in high temperature, well. The water loss,thickening time and molecular weight is studied on the effects of the monomer ratio,initiator amount,sulfonated monomer (AS) amount,microwave power,microwave time and other factors. The optimal conditions of microwave synthesis:n (AM):n(AA)= 4:1, AS is 4%, the initiator is 0.5%, the microwave power is 100%W, the microwave time is 160s, pH=7, the concentration is 12%, The infra red spectrum analysis of the AM/AA/AS copolymer showed that monomers(AS) had been polymered sufficiently. The best conditions of filtrate reducer is used on the conwenti onal density,low density and high density slurry sysytem to reseach the overall performance.In the conwentional density slurry system, AM/AA/AS has preferable performance of water loss. When the dosage is 0.69%, the water loss is 35mL, it can be used in slurry sysytem of 130℃, the water loss is 39mL. It demonstrates that high temperature has little effect to water loss. And the AM/AA/AS has preferable performance of temperature resistance. AM/AA/AS has good compatible with commonly used dispersing agent and extender.Through the mixed use of several extender, thickening time can be extended to 339min, The system has good rheological and stability. The compressive strength reach to 15.65MPa/90℃,24h,24.55MPa/90℃,48h.AM/AA/AS is ued on floating beads-microsilica slurry system. When consistency is 1.45g/cm3 and the dosage is 0.86%, the water loss is 66mL/90℃,,73mL/130℃, the thickening time is 225min/90℃,242min/130℃, compressive strength is 6MPa/60℃,48h. In the magnetite high density slurry sysytem, when consistency is 2.13g/cm3 and the dosage is 0.58%, the water loss is 61mL/90℃,67mL/130℃, the thickening time is 210min/90℃,228min/130℃, compressive strength is 7.6MPa/90℃,24h. The low and high density slurry system have good compatible with commonly used dispersing agent,suspending agent and stabilizing agent.This paper synthesized sulfonic acid filtrate reducer which has has preferable overall performance,fluid loss performance and the temperature resistance. The flitrate reducer(AM/ AA/AS) has good prospects.
