T6 heat-treatment solution furnace transported by triple-tiered roller in this article is designed and manufactured by SHENYANG NEU-SANKEN INDUSTRIAL FURNACE MFG. CO., LTD. The furnace is used for the continuous solution treatment for aluminum alloy cast piece. The airflow and the distribution of flow field will impact directly to the quality of work piece treated. For the factors that impact the distribution of airflow are plentiful and complicated, it's difficult to make the engineering experiment in scale. But with the development of computer technology, numerical simulation based on Fluent, one of CFD software, is to be a effectual method. The software is economical with rapid speed and high efficiency and can imitate the real and ideal condition under certain circumstance that has become the popular imitation research tool by a lot of research institutes.This article constructs the physical model with the rate of 1:1 by consulting a real furnace and establishes a mathematical model about flow field inside the furnace with software Fluent.Using the k-εmodel studies turbulence inside the furnace. From researching airflow field distributing rule inside the furnace, analyses its many influential factors and studies the hydrodynamic character and the airflow field distribution without change of quantities of work piece and sizes of furnace. Changing circulating ways of furnace gas and boundary conditions can achieve different flowing field distribution drawing. Modifying inner structure of furnace under optimal circulation elected by further comparing and analyzing gains a optimal structure in the best circulating way. It can ensure uniform flowing field and appropriate velocity-magnitude inside the furnace.The findings from this article are extremely significant to further research of airflow distribution inside the furnace as well as designing and exploiting the same kind new furnace.
