The high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system, a high flexible and controllable fuel system, is an important technology which can satisfy China III emission standards broadly used in China. Up to now, this technology still belongs to foreign companies now. So it is essential to systematically do research on diesel engine high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system and exploit it. To establish the controlled strategy of diesel engine high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system, this essay gives an issue research on cold starting and sentence the TDC1 strategy.It is well known that the cold starting of tradition diesel engine is difficult, and with engine starting in lower temperature the level of exhaust gas emissions will be higher. However, high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system can improve starting performance to reduce the harmful emission possibly produced by cold starting through the different controlled strategy. How to sentence the TDC1 exactly and fast is the precondition for the engine normally operates, and also becomes a necessary condition which ensures the electricity controlled diesel engine normal operating. Moreover, as it is possible to appear mistakes or breakdown for the sensor signal, the remedial treatment must be considered for sentence the TDC1 under the signal breakdown pattern to enhance the reliability of the electrically controlled diesel engine.The differences which between traditional engine mechanics technology and high pressure common rail diesel technology were contrasted and analyzed, as well as the starting and sentence the TDC1 control technology of application present situation were contrasted and analyzed. The advantage of the diesel engine high pressure common rail control system starting and sentences the TDC1 control strategies are introduced. The starting control strategy chooses different starting rotational speed and the starting torque when the engine is under the cold machine starting, the warm machine starting, or the heat engine starting conditions.
