The truck-mounted crane is a lifting appliance that is installed on the truck, and has lifting, transportation features, while at the same time has a mobile, flexible, convenient, and other characteristics, widely used. The straight boom crane has rope, winch, and it is the relatively large size after recovery, its lifting through wire rope and winch, it can job stability and precise positioning; The folding boom crane that its boom can be folded is smaller after recovery, lifting movements entirely by a combination of the fuel tank, the action is complete, so the crane is suitable for high working efficiency with a wide range of aids, but its stability is poor。The folding boom crane is the current development of the main mode.Boom is a key part of the truck-mounted crane, In this paper, the author analyzes the boom's box-framed structure about more than 5 tons large tonnage folding boom truck-mounted crane, and analyzes and studies kinds of factors that impact the processing quality of the crane, puts forward a variety of appropriate control measures, designs the overall process plan and technology of the telescopic boom and fixed boom.While the completion of this process design, this paper studies the key question that influence the folding boom crane quality- all key issues in the telescopic boom, particularly the fixed boom that can be difficult to control the welding deformation, and result in the processing of boom position tolerance of the variance not qualified, that are critical technical obstacles. Then the paper analyzes a variety of factors and makes tests of welding, gives a various technical parameters, and includes the reverse deformation and other technological measures to control the welding deformation.Through the implementation of according to formulation the craft plan and regulatory measures of welding deformation control, and carried on the sample workpiece trial manufacturing, finally the work piece has achieved the design requirements completely, These theories have important instructional effects on the engineering practice.
