To raise the level of management and planning of water-supply network has currently become to relevant departments urgently need with the rapid development of urbanization. The author try to solve the trival data input problem, Closing valves search circulating unlimited problem and how to adjust dual-source water-supply by GIS.Spatial analysis to the Geographic Information System(GIS) is an important function, also is it's soul which distinguished from other systems. Geographical Information Systems has its unique advantage to process SpatiaI Data. Urban water- supply network with lots of users,valves and pipes which most of them buried underground. water-supply network has the dual characteristics of diversification topological graph and equipment material complexity .Which creats great challenges to daily management and maintenance. GIS can satisfy the dual requirements of attribute data and spatial data processing. Because of ArcObjects contains a large amount of programmable components, from the object (for example, particle size of geometry object) to a single coarse granularity of objects (such as ArcMap document interactive map existing object) are widely involved,which provides developers with a comprehensive GIS function.This is the decisive and inevitability reason for ArcGIS to provide a GIS application platform of the water- supply management and planning departments.This article from present situation and the opportunity of establishing Water supply management system to realize the key function of system with Combining the research results of similar system. First solve data processing various pipeline existed in different field data of table, then according to read computer graphics, put forward the pipeline modeling of networks and the ring of common tree network unification as a tree piping, and application breadth first search algorithm of correlation piping and valves traverse, in order to reduce cycle times and unrestricted circulation, thus realize program to tube-burst analysis, and emptying dual-source automatic adjustment proposed solutions.The quantity of a city's pipeline is very large (usually has dozen G). Some relevant management departments usally provide unification format data ,so solve data read question may seems a simple program,but it can save a lot of time in people's real work, also can avoid the inevitable errors which caused by man-made input. The distribution of realistic water supply line is very complex, which have ring network and tree pipelines. How to try to conform to reality pipeline distribution and optimization calculation of computer to find the best balance between appear is extremely important. In accordance with the relevant principles ,we can abstracte pipeline unifiedly as tree line, which can avoid the annular pipelines caused search unlimited circulation, and avoided simple levels (for example, depth of 2 tree pipeline) tree line which don't match physical obviously . Breadth-first search algorithm simply traverse related piping and valves, which is different from traversing all the pipe valves. Puts forward a solutions of automatically adjust to dual-source water can expand the function realization and make the system more complete.
