Fan is one of the main calulate machine in thermal power units, its power occupied about 1.5%~3%of generating capacity. It mainly adopts hydraulic power fan current match-mismatch adjustment method to control air throttle losses. And it also has some shortcomings, such as the big air adjusting inaccurate, energy-intensive, low efficienc. With the high frequency conversion technology is better, its operation reliability has reached the requirements of the power plants.Based on the analysis of component, the principle, characteristics and application of the converter, we choose the system of the perfect high-voltage inverter to coal-fired power plant boiler fan for multi-motors boiler fan, design frequency conversion electric control system. Using relevant production system typical control theory, constitute send, induced draft fan automatic control system, and the embracing of power plant distributed control system (DCS), realize the boiler fan send, lead air automatic adjustment. In-depth study of the system operation, motor, inverter, interlock protect the FSSS, studied the PID control logic, cascade control system composition, principle, parameter setting method of frequency converter, start-up, commissioning, operation methods for analysis of the process, make its work in optimal state.Through practical projects of multi-motors device, we find it available to control the frequency of the fan in the plants. It can achieve a wide range, air speed automatic adjustment, and can reduce the energy consumption.
