China is one of the countries, which is short of primary energy, is low of the energy using efficiency, and is the highest ratio of output value/energy consumption. In addition, the structure of China power network is complex, impact load is much more and low in many occasions, so the transformation has great potential. With its remarkable energy saving effect, the high power factor, excellent performance of speed adjustment and extensive applicability, variable-frequency regulating speed technology becomes the mainstream of development direction. In the thesis, energy saving transformation methods based on the technology of frequency conversion were chosen, a set of high voltage variable frequency variable speed device was developed and designed.First the structure of high voltage inverter system was given, which was composed of transformer ark, power unit ark, control cabinets, into outlet ark and bypass cabinet and so on. Transformer tank was used to place phase shifting rectifier transformer, accessed the consumers 10kV power supply, and output low power source of power unit ark, it also included transformer own air-cooled facilities and temperature testing device. Power unit ark mainly placed 24 power units. Cabinet had functions of inverter control, alarm and printing, which was composed of controller, PLC and touch screen. Into outlet ark and bypass ark were the main power into outlet channel. Then the control system of the high voltage variable frequency variable speed device was designed, which included master control system, the upper controller, PLC controller, and industrial control system interface, man-machine interface and power unit control system and control system power supply. And the protection function modules of the high voltage variable frequency variable speed device were designed, which included over current protection and power unit dc over-voltage protection. At last, optimal control theory of the asynchronous motor speed was analyzed, the mathematical modal of induction motor was set up, the power reasonable matching principle of asynchronous motor was summarized, and the optimal control strategy of power matching was obtained.This device was the new power electronic device combined with high-power all-controlling power semiconductor devices and advanced control theory, generally applied to load frequency control of high-pressure blower and pump in energy-intensive enterprise, such as electric power, metallurgy, chemical engineering etc, could significantly improved the power factor in load and power grid access points, and could dramatically saved electric energy consumption.
