Hunan City Square, The Geographical Features And Its Design Strategy

City Square reflects city's history, culture and charm. It is the most important carrier of unfolding the city's regional culture characteristics, and is "City's Name Card". 1n recent years, China has raised a trend of city square construction, and is good to improve cities'appearance. But as a result of globalization, western culture intensely impacts, our traditional lifestyle and culture is being marginalized. Cities look more and more similar as each other. Thus, we need to re-investigate and understand the regional culture which the city located, to look for a way for Chinese cities to establish their regional culture characteristics.We pursue protection, regeneration and creation of the regional culture, and don't against that we study, absorb global advanced culture and technology.
