| The water resource of China is very rich, the development of hydropower is also comparatively rapid. However, there are some problems in many small hydro-electric power stations, such as the running time is long, the design is conservative, the installation is backward. All of these problems made serious impact on economic efficiency. So, it's necessary to reform the small hydro-electric power stations. With the rapid development of computer and electronic information technology, advanced and reliable synthetical automation system has been applied widely. This article, based on deep research for control system for hydropower plant both at home and abroad, presents a design of unattended automatic system which is cheap, safe and reliable.The control architecture of this system is distributed, it is divided into supervisory control level and field control layer. With the actual situation, this article puts forward a pattern which is fit for small hydropower by using PLC and touch screen.It not only realizes automatic control of the Hydraulic Power unit, governor and exciter, but also Quasi-synchronization and network. This system has been tested in the laboratory of dynamic simulation of power system. What's more, it has been applicated for the three small hydro-electric power stations which are called shuang ta, lou lou shan and shang shui wang.This article, in detail, also described the structure of the system of communication network. LCU uses RS-485 and CAN fieldbus as digital communication way, main control layer constitutes fast EtherNet by using switch. Different communication ways and protocols are converted by configuration software and network capable application processor, communication between PLC and computer is realized through Freeport communication and Modbus protocol.This system, deigned by this article, is mature, cheap and fully functional. The actual running results of this system shows that it is particularly suitable for the construction and renovation of the small hydro-electric power stations in the rural area, so it has extremely wide application value. |
