The central heating system is one of the city’s infrastructure, it is also one of the symbols of the city modernization. The development of central heating has important significance on saving energy, developing the environmental quality and improving the people’s living standards. Because of its good social benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit, urban development and perfect of central heating is very necessary and urgent.Along with the central heating engineering scale unceasingly expands, heating system through the thermal station indirect connection occupies a large proportion. Thermal station is the extremely important link connecting heating plant and users. The safety and reliability of the work directly influence the safety of boiler and the heating quality, and improving the work efficiency has a great significance on energy saving. At present, thermal station mostly adopts the artificial monitoring, it is a waste of human labor; and it is difficult for operating person to find the hidden danger when the accident happens, and it easily causes serious accident. At the same time, because of the thermal power station are run independently, each other is not online communication, it is difficult to realize the overall optimization of heating system, easy to cause the thermal imbalance, affect the heating effect and cause a great waste of energy.Urban centralized heat supply information management scheduling and automation control system plays a very important role on ensuring the high quality heating,safe operation, economy energy and environmental protection of the heating system. Through the construction of the system, it can collect all the main information of the heating engineering, centralized monitoring, comprehensive analysis, coordination scheduling, improving efficiency, make the heating industry management change from extensive to intensive, prompted heating industry control level enhancement. Reduce heat loss is the main direction of heating industry energy saving, by providing heating control scheme, using the automatic control, it makes the heat loss to be a minimum. It effectively overcomes the disadvantages when manual operating, for example, it can not be timely master the instrument operating parameters, can not overcome the metering losses, tube damage and other serious problems caused by instrument and human.Unattended heating exchange station emerge as the times require is just using the advanced computer technology, network communication technology and intelligent control technology as the support, the implementation of thermal system is more scientific and standardized monitoring managed, it improves the central control room monitoring capabilities and can produce tremendous economic and social benefits. This article take the Henan province Puyang city Thermotics Inc as an example, analyzing the actual operation data, it brings out that thermal energy saves up to10%, electric saving energy reaches20%, the manpower endowment saves over600thousand yuan.
