Research On Planning Of College Town Based On The Philosophy Of Resource Sharing

With the advent of knowledge economy era, tertiary education has appeared a model for running schools called'college town'. It has promoted the development of tertiary education and local economy by reorganizing and sharing education resources, and combining research with products production. The core of this model is resources sharing which will affect how this model functions. However, as the lack of related theories about'college town'and immaturity of the model, in the practice this model revealed a lot of problems, particularly, the situation of'college town'resource sharing drew most concern.This dissertation focuses on analysis the present status and demands of the development of'college town,'and looks for the control and strategies of achieving resource sharing.This dissertation contains the research of'college town'characteristics, the contents and models and validity of resources sharing. In addition, analysis of specific planning cases at domestic and international level. Then, some specific views of writer propose to'college town'planning under the general'resources sharing'concept from two aspects which are the planning strategies of achievement of resources sharing and planning'college town'land-use scale.Besides, some planning designs have being put to the practice of the project of Songming faculty base.
