The principle of the copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator is that when the hot water current passes through the copper tube, heat is transferred to the aluminum wing tube through heat conduction and the aluminum wing tube will then heat up the surrounding air by free convection. Therefore, it is only by optimizing the dimensions, shape and quantity of the aluminum wing panels of the aluminum wing tubes would the heat dissipation of the aluminum wing tubes be raised. The water run through the red copper tubes which performance a good Corrosion resistance and the aluminum wing has also enhanced the heat dissipation capability. The double copper tube copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator has lots of advantages such as lower damage during the installation process, higher corrosion allowance, longer service life, higher heat dissipating capacity and cost-effective rate. Moreover, it is only by optimizing the dimensions, shape and quantity of the aluminum wing panels of the aluminum wing tubes would the heat dissipation of the aluminum wing tubes be raised ,the copper utilization be improved, the radiator manufacturing costs be saved . it is also the key issue or the purpose of the investigation.The mathematical model of the single copper tube copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator was constructed, and theoretical analysis and experimental verification were carried out on the heat dissipation of the mathematical model so as to confirm the precision and accuracy of the model. Then on this basis, the mathematical model of the double copper tubes copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator was constructed, the heat dissipation for the said model was solved and the aluminum wing panels were optimized. At the same time, metal thermal strength analysis was carried out, and experiments and research were conducted based on this processed sample so as to ultimately achieve the objective of increasing the utilization rate of copper material. Finally, the experimental prototype machine diagrams and key manufacturing process technology for double copper tubes copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator were given to guide enterprises.The article also made numerical simulation of several radiators whose temperature field and velocity field in the heating-room. By contracting the analysis result, it obtained the differences of the effect of heating between the radiators. The study results showed that: If double copper tubes copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator is chosen in a 100m2 construction area room, the cost of double one is 19% lower than single one when copper price is 30,000 yuan / ton and 27% lower than single one when copper price is 60,000 yuan / ton. When copper price is no more than 40,000 yuan / ton which make the cost approach the steel radiator's , the double copper tubes copper-aluminum Column-wing-type radiator has good market prospects.
