In recent years, the construction of hydropower cause in our country has developed substantially. The big high-pressure bifurcation pipe's application and research are keys of the design.The steel bifurcation pipe sections are used in the design of diversion type water power station in the past. If bifurcation designed plate lining will be had a series of problems, especially steel bifurcation is supported in the external water pressure. In addition, for the complexity of the steel liner reinforced concrete bifurcations, the pipe work morpholopy is not completely understood.Conventional structure analysis method can not make design about the characteristic of pipe and lining's work sufficiently.One primary content of paper is that using the FEM analyse software to build the analysis model in accord with the actual project. Based on the literatures and materials researched on the steel liner reinforced concrete bifurcation pipe at home and abroad, the current situation has been comprehensively reviewed in this paper and enucleated the significance.And then the theory of structure design have been stated.The theory and method of FEM have been brief stated.In accordance with the loads of steel liner reinforced concrete bifurcation pipe,the analysis model and simulate method of the materials of steel lining, surrounding concrete and rock have been presented by using the universal finite element calculating software ANSYS.Combining with the practice of a steel liner reinforced concrete bifurcation pipe, the FEM analysis that the stress-strain of steel liner and the displacement rules of surrounding rock are analysed.They have been carried out on different conditions.By these analysis, a few beneficial conclusions are gained, which provide some references that improve the structure design of a steel liner reinforced concrete bifurcation pipe.
